The Department of Surgery at Bewal Interational Hospital started providing outpatient services after the launch of the hospital and soon after first surgical procedure was carried out in state of the art operating theater. The department is maned by visiting general and orthopeadic surgeons. The anaesthetic is provided by 2 oncal anaesthetists. Procedures carried out range from simple lumps and bumps to hernia repair and gall bladder removal. Fractures are treated both conservatively and by fixation with plates and screws. This department has very close liaison with surgical units in the city.
